The Lexington Town Council is set to give first-reading consideration of an ordinance allowing Sunday beer and wine sales. Council will take up the issue in its regular session Mon. July 18 at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers at 111 Maiden Lane. Council also is set to hold public hearings and consider final approval of ordinances that would annex 108 Thunder Road, and update town code 50.21, which governs fees for new water connections.
