LHS Takes Second at Science Bowl

Five-member team took on more than 250 schools from across South Carolina and Georgia.

Five students won second place in the Department of Energy Savannah River Regional Science Bowl.

Competing as a team, the students answered questions in various fields of study including, biology, chemistry, energy, mathematics and physics.

For placing second, each team member received a $50 award. The team also received $750 for the LHS Science Department.

Teams from more than 250 schools from across Georgia and South Carolina attended the competition held at the University of South Carolina-Aiken.
