"Operation Keeping Seniors Cool is a special opportunity for the small and large businesses in our growing community to give back to the area and we appreciate their support of our department," Green said.
In this special project, the Community Action Team is asking for donations of box fans, standingfans, window air conditioners and gift cards towards the purchase of cooling devices. These are distributed to the elderly in the community during Lexington's extreme temperature months.
