LTC Student Wins National Design Contest
The national SkillsUSA chapter will recognize Morgan Finley and her LTC instructor at the opening ceremony for the national conference.

Morgan Finley, a digital art and design student at Lexington Technology Center, has won the SkillsUSA 2012 National Pin Design Competition.
Finley created the winning pin design for the conference. Each participant at the conference will receive a pin featuring Finley’s winning design.
Finley received a plaque displaying her winning design as well as a travel stipend to attend the national conference. LTC received a plaque displaying the winning design and a $5,000 grant from Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation to use for new software and supplies.
The national SkillsUSA chapter will recognize Finley and her LTC instructor, Anna Reeside, at the opening ceremony for the national conference.
SkillsUSA helps high school and college students enrolled in career and technical education programs to excel by teaching employable skills such as communication, problem solving and leadership in conjunction with their trade, technical and service occupations skills.
