Lynch Sentenced to Life Imprisonment
Convicted killer from West Columbia escapes death penalty.

A judge on Tuesday sentenced convicted killer Kenneth Lynch of West Columbia to life in prison for , according to this report from WACH-TV.
Lynch was convicted on two counts of murder last week in a bench trial. Prosecutors had sought the death penalty.
Though the females' bodies were never found, Lynch was found guilty of killing Portia Washington, 54, and seven-year-old Angelica Livingston of West Columbia.
"The decisions I made in this trial, thus far, have been based upon a lot of careful thought and prayer," said Judge Eugene Griffith in handing down the sentence.
