Money Settlement Reached In Lake Murray Deaths

A Richland County court has approved a $245,000 payment that will go to the families of two women killed in a Lake Murray boating crash last year, The State reports.

Boating operator Steven Kranendonk of Irmo did not admit he is at fault for their deaths in the separate agreements, concluding damage claims that the victims’ mothers brought, the paper reports.

However, Kranendonk still reportedly faces criminal charges.
