Photos: 54th Lexington County Peach Festival

The 54th annual Lexington County Peach Festival takes place at Gilbert Community Park July 4.

Happy Independence Day! If you're still in town and looking to show your spirit, there's still time to head out to the 54th annual Lexington County Peach Festival.

This year's festival is being held at Gilbert Community Park. The parade began at 9:30 a.m., but the festivities will continue until fireworks at 10 p.m.

Most activities will be free, including an antique tractor and farm equipment display, a car show, a Revolutionary War re-enactment and a volleyball tournament.

The Lexington County Peach Queen will be crowned at 7 p.m., and the junior division pageant begins at 2 p.m.

Arts and crafts, children's rides and concessions will also be available for a small fee.
