Police Search for Alleged Counterfeiters

Authorities seeking help in identifying persons who allegedly passed bogus bills in Lexington.

The Lexington Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a couple suspected of allegedly passing three counterfeit $100 bills at various businesses in Lexington (see surveillance photos).

On Feb. 22, 2012 an unknown black male suspect and an unknown black female suspect, believed to be in their middle 20’s, went into at least two businesses in Lexington and passed three different counterfeit $100 bills as payment for items purchased.
