Police Seek Identity of Credit Card Thief
Unidentified suspect accused of using stolen card at a local Walmart.

The West Columbia Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a man who allegedly used a stolen credit card at the Walmart located at 2401 Augusta Road.
According to Chief Dennis Tyndall, the incident occurred on May 15 at approximately 5:30 p.m. The suspect made several purchases including fishing equipment and a cellular phone, police alleged.
The suspect is a light-skinned black male in his early twenties. The suspect is about 6 feet with a medium build. He was wearing a multi-colored horizontally striped shirt and dark pants (see attached PDF image at right).
Video photos of the suspect as he exited the store were obtained by the investigator. Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity or similar incidents is asked to contact the West Columbia Police Department at 803-794-0721, or 888-CRIME-SC.
