Rep. Joe Wilson Postpones District Tour
This week's town hall meeting and other appearances put off while the Congressman battles possible Lyme disease

If you had plans to attend tonight's town hall meeting in Chapin, or other public events planned as part of Rep. Joe Wilson's district tour, you'll need a rain check.
As Patch reported last week, the second-district congressman is being treated for symptoms of Lyme disease. While staffers originally said the Republican lawmaker would be able to maintain his schedule, his office now says he will postpone his planned tour by more than a month.
Wilson's tour will commence the week of Sept. 26-30. The town hall meeting scheduled for tonight at Chapin High School also will be rescheduled until that week, his office said.
