Saxe Gotha Elementary students gather 1,500 pounds of needed paper products for local children's shelter.

students learned the importance of giving during the school’s winter service project for the Nancy K. Perry Children’s Shelter in Lexington.
SGES students and employees collected 1,500 pound of paper products, including plates, cups, napkins and paper towels, for the shelter.
SGES Student Ambassadors, the school’s fourth-grade student leaders, coordinated the project, which gave students an opportunity to make a difference in their community.
