Sheriff: Men Stole More Than $8K in Tools
Deputies say the three men broke into a West Columbia business Tuesday and stole thousands of dollars in tools.
Detectives arrested three men Wednesday in connection with the theft of more than $8,000 in tools from a business in West Columbia.
Christopher Todd Taylor, 28, of Pelion and Cliffton Scott Taylor, 26, of West Columbia are charged with second-degree burglary and grand larceny, according to the Lexington County Sheriff's Department.
Charles William McCorkle, 42, of Pelion is charged with receiving stolen goods.

Deputies say brothers Christopher Taylor and Cliffton Taylor broke into the business at 177 Lott Court around 2 a.m. Tuesday by removing a window.
They stole more than $8,000 in tools from the business, according to the sheriff's department, including one Stihl weed eater, one Wacker chop saw, one Husquavarna Farm Boss chain saw, one Stihl bush hedger, one Stihl edger, one laser, one Dewalt demolition hammer and one jumping jack.

Detectives found the stolen tools at McCorkle's home in Pelion.
McCorkle was released from the Lexington County Detention Center Thursday after posting a $10,000 bond.
Christopher Taylor and Cliffton Taylor were being held Thursday at the detention center on a $25,000 bond each.
