Voter Registration Deadline Looms
Lexington residents have one more week to register if they want to vote in municipal elections

The town of Lexington will host municipal elections on Nov. 8. But if you want to vote and aren't registered you only have until Saturday, Oct. 8 to register under state law.
The election includes three at-large Council seats and a .
The at-large council race pits incumbents Danny Frazier, Richard Thompson, and Todd Shevchik against Constance Fleming, Steve MacDougall, and Tripp Newsome. The seats will go to the three top vote getters.

The Lexington County Voter Registration Office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is located at 605 West Main St. in Lexington.
