Weeklong Traffic Crackdown Starts Thursday

The following Lexington roadways will see increased patrols by deputies and troopers

The Lexington County Sheriff's Department has announced the latest roadways where it will conduct stepped up traffic patrols, which are scheduled to begin this Thursday morning and run through Wednesday, Nov. 16.

Deputies, along with S.C. Highway Patrol troopers, will be cracking down on speeders, as well as reckless and drunken drivers.

The targeted roadways include: Corley Mill Road, Emory Lane, Greenwood Road, Holland Street, Jessamine Road, Irvin Jumper Road, Golden Jubilee Road, South Lake Drive, Bethany Church Road, and Pleasant View Road.
