Weeklong Traffic Crackdown Underway

The following Lexington roadways will see increased patrols by deputies and state troopers

The Lexington County Sheriff's Department has announced the latest roadways where it will conduct stepped up traffic patrols, which begin Thursday morning and will run through Wednesday, Dec. 21.

Deputies, along with S.C. Highway Patrol troopers, will be cracking down on speeders, as well as reckless and drunken drivers.

  • Hope Ferry Road
  • Kitti Wake Drive
  • Maple Road
  • Murray Lindler Road
  • Old Chapin Road
  • Rawl Road
  • Steele Road
  • Water Tank Road
  • Drawdenbil Road
