Wildcats One Win Away from Finals
Lexington High faces region foe Aiken Friday night for shot at state championship.

Will the third time be the charm?
The Lexington High Wildcats boys basketball team defeated county rival White Knoll earlier this week 56-43 to advance to the Class 4A Lower State finals against region foe Aiken.
It's the third straight year that Lexington has made it this far.
Should Lexington win this weekend, they will face the winner of the Dorman-Gaffney game in the state championship next weekend.
In the past 2 games against Aiken, Lexington won by 26 points both times. 71-45 on Feb. 3, and 63-37 on Jan. 13.
The Lower State final will start at 7 p.m. at the Florence Civic Center. Tickets are $10.
