Wildcats Take it to South Aiken
Lexington High boys' baseball team win their opener in the Lower State tournament.
The Lexington High Wildcats defeated South Aiken 6-2 on Sunday in the opening game of the Class 4A Lower State baseball tournament, The State reported.
The top-ranked Wildcats (26-2) won for the 15th straight game.
The team, , will seek to continue their impressive win streak today when they take on Ashley Ridge in a second-round game.
Meanwhile, White Knoll High, which lost to Ashley Ridge on Saturday, will play South Aiken today in an elimination game.
