Wilson Kicks Off District Tour Monday

Second District Congressman Joe Wilson will be hosting a Town Hall meeting Monday in Lexington as he kicks off his annual district tour.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. It will be held in Lexington's Town Hall located on 111 Maiden Lane. 

The guest speakers will be Michele Abraham, the State Director of the South Carolina Small Business Development Centers, and Jim Giffin of Specialized Services for Veterans and Military Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners at the Moore School of Business at USC. Lexington Mayor Randy Halfacre will also be in attendance.

The Lexington town hall will be only one on Wilson's tour, which was postponed last month when the Republican fell ill with a mysterious virus. 

However, Wilson's tour will afford constituents other opportunities to see and interact with Wilson, who plans 16 visits throughout the Midlands, plus several more throughout the district which extends south to Beaufort County in the Lowcountry.
