The Touchstone Energy WIRE charity golf tournament will be held Monday, October 14, 2013, at Golden Hills Country Club. Proceeds of the tournament go to Becky's Place at Lexington Medical Center.
Four-person teams will compete in a Captain's Choice tournament with tee off at 1:00pm. Registration will begin at Noon with lunch and an awards ceremony to follow the round of 18 holes.
WIRE (Women Involved in Rural Electrification) is an outreach organization of Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative. Members participate in many community events throughout the year, raising money for school supplies, volunteering at nursing homes, and giving donations to many local organizations.
