WKHS Architectural Team Defends National Title

The Architectural Team, known as DNA or Dynamic National Architecture, will defend their national championship title when they compete at the 2012 Mock Firms Competition in May in Chicago.

To prepare for the competition, team members Todd Leaphart, Hardeep Pandher and Jessie Pandher have designed a residence for active seniors located on Lake Norman in North Carolina.

The competition not only includes architecture, but also marketing and business planning. The student must prepare CAD (computer-aided design) drawings, rendered drawings, a site model and a model of the home along with the required business components.

At the competition, they will present their company and project to a panel of architects and engineers from the Chicago area.
