Trolly Brings Service to Mt. Pleasant Hotels, Attractions
Tourists, locals have a new option to get around town.
Visitors and residents to Mount Pleasant and the Lowcountry have a new way to get to some of the town's most popular attractions, along with a new way to hit the beach or take a trip downtown.
Patriot's Point, Boone Hall, Mount Pleasant Towne Centre, Shem Creek, Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms, as well as Mount Pleasant and Charleston visitor centers — see it all on the Lowcountry Loop Trolley.
Owners Terry Williams and Derrick Williams purchased two trolleys from out of Savannah and launched their shuttle service in June. The couple has a route with set stops — one of the only non-public shuttle services in the state. But the trolleys are also available for special events like weddings and reunions.

"It's nice to have the trolley to take care of it all," he said. "This gets our guests out to the beach and downtown."
Day-long passes for the service are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and $10 for kids. There are also group rates. There's also a $75 annual pass available through the end of the year.
