A Greenville man who stopped by the store to purchase a lottery ticket was $200,000 richer when he arrived home to a cold dinner

A Greenville man late for dinner surprised his wife with a winning lottery ticket.

The winner told S.C. Education Lottery officials while he was eating his wife was rattling off plans for the $200,000. She mentioned a new roof, paying off their mortgages and helping the kids.
The man did have to tell his wife the $200,000 win was before taxes.

"I told the guy behind the counter at Bells to give me a jackpot winning ticket,” the winner told lottery officials. “I need another one.”
Three top prizes of $200,000 remain in the Blue Sapphire Bucks game.
Bells on Old Easley Highway in Greenville will get $2,000 for selling the ticket.
