City Of Greer: Shoot Fireworks Safely And With Courtesy

Fireworks are not banned in the City of Greer because the discharge of fireworks is permissible under state law.

Currently, fireworks are prohibited during parades and city events (unless approved by the City). If the fireworks create a continued disturbance or at irregular hours, residents may call the Greer Police Department, which could make a decision regarding disturbing the peace or other charges.

Please use good judgement when discharging fireworks in the City of Greer. Consideration for neighbors is encouraged.
