The Eastside High School volleyball win won the AAA state volleyball title in Lexington on Saturday. The Eagles defeated Myrtle Beach in straight games (25-23, 25-23, 25-18) to win the title and end the season at 26-4. Not only did the Eastside team get support from a student body that made the trip to the Midlands, but late in the contest the high school's cross country teams showed up at White Knoll High School. The Eastside girls earlier in the day had one the state title as well.
