Man Tries To Escape From Greenville Jail
Jason Solesbee attempted to scale a razor wire fence on Monday to escape from the Greenville County Detention Center.

A 29-year-old man already in jail was hit with one more charge Monday after an ambitious but poorly executed plan to escape from the Greenville County Detention Center, FoxCarolina.com reports.
Jason Solesbee, who was in jail on charges of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and criminal domestic violence, reportedly used a sheet to attempt to climb over razor wire at 1:30 p.m. at the Greenville County Detention Center.
Solesbee became tangled in the sharp wire and suffered from cuts in the failed attempt, which was done in full view of other inmates and guards. The attempt took place in an outdoor recreation area.

Now Solesbee's chance of getting out on bond are even slimmer than they were before. He'd been incarcerated since July on his previous charges, and now faces an additional $150,000 bond on a new charge of escape.
