“The Court’s decision to remove candidates on a hyper-technicality, ignores the provisions of § 8-13-1356(A), which provides for REQUIRING the filing of the Statement of Economic Interests (SEI) to be online. I consider this to be a breech of the Court’s Constitutional duty to protect the rights of the citizens to choose their own representatives.”

“As I have been decertified, I don’t believe it is in the best interests of the citizens of District 5 to continue on as a petition candidate. I do wish Tom Corbin the best of luck, and would ask my supporters to give him your serious consideration in the primary on Tuesday, June 12, 2012.”
