A memorial service to honor the life of Carl E. Koontz will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 12th at The Lutheran Church of Our Saviour, 2600 Wade Hampton Blvd., Greenville.  Carl, 87, a Navy Veteran from World War II, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 at his home. Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Betty Gene "BG" Koontz, daughter Karen (Jim) Fivecoat and Joanne Koontz (Ken Sussman). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.

Memorial service for the WWII veteran to be held Tuesday morning.
