Jeffrey Lee Range, 46, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 9, 2013 after a lengthy illness.
Born in Johnson City, TN, he was a son of Betty Dulaney Range and the late Bill N. Range.
Jeff was a loving husband and father. He was employed by W. W. Grainger, Inc. for 26 years. At the time of his death he was Manager of the Greenville branch. He was a faithful member of Lee Road United Methodist Church where he was a member of the Challenged for Christ Sunday School class, Chairman of Leisure Ministries and coached Basketball and Softball Teams for the church. Jeff was also on the Board of Directors for Greenville Tech Foundation. He has impacted many lives through his leadership and his unwavering faith to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
In addition to his mother, Jeff is survived by his loving family, his wife of 24 years, Lori Petty Range; his beloved children, Chelsea A. Range and J. Luke Range, all of Greenville; his brothers, Bruce N. Range (Susan) and Rick L. Range (Angie) all of Jonesborough, TN; his sister, Tammy R. Wolfe (Tony) of Seymour, TN; a special uncle, David E. Dulaney (Beth) of Sevierville, TN; and several nieces, nephews cousins and countless other family and friends.
The family will receive friends Monday from 4 to 6:45pm at Lee Road United Methodist Church with the service to follow at 7:00pm with the Reverends Doug Gilliland and James O. Gilliam officiating. Graveside services will be 1:00pm Tuesday at Eden United Methodist Church in Jonesborough, TN.
