Taylors Business Sold To Milwaukee Manufacturer

The Cline Company, based in Taylors, has been sold to Milwaukee-based Rexnord Corp. for $19.7 million, GSA Business reported.

Cline, which also does business as Cline Acquisition Corp., specializes in equipment such as driveshafts, clutches and brakes that are used in production machinery. Rexnord makes process and motion-control equipment and water management products.

Cline operates a 48,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution center at 5210 Edwards Road.

For Rexnord, the acquisition expands its product line, as well as its presence in the Southeast. The company employs around 7,300 worldwide.
