Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market Holds Grand Opening This Morning In Greer

The state of South Carolina's first Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market will hold its official grand opening in Greer this morning.

The 48,000 square-foot store will offer a full line of groceries, such as meat, dairy, deli, produce and frozen foods, along with a full pharmacy, in contract with the brand's "Super Store" locations, which offer everything from toys to technology.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. at the store location ta 805 West Wade Hampton Boulevard.  

The store will employ between 80 to 100 people when fully staffed.
