• Sanford lab seeking applications for Artists in Residency program (sdpb.org) — An arts opportunity with strong ties to the Lead-Deadwood community is now open, as the Sanford Underground Research Facility's Artists in Residence program accepts applications through Nov. 1. One artist will receive a four-week stay, exhibition and lecture, a $5,000 stipend, and up to $5,000 in project support, with recent work exploring connections between Lakota culture and cutting-edge science.
