• Lyme/Old Lyme Middle School names new assistant principal (theday.com) — An educator with deep experience in the East Hartford school system is stepping into a new leadership role as assistant principal at Lyme-Old Lyme Middle School and Center School. Andrea Montovani previously worked in multiple East Hartford teaching and coaching positions, and her move follows the former principal’s shift to lead RiverTech Magnet High School in East Hartford. 
• Trucking facility previously rejected by Manchester officials back under consideration (ctpost.com) — A trucking company is again seeking approval to build a major operations hub on Commerce Road in Manchester, just near the East Hartford border. After earlier wetlands and permitting rejections, Singh Realty Group has filed new applications, with town planners set to review whether the revised plan warrants a public hearing this summer.
