• Letters warn South Nashville homeowners of I-24 toll lane property impacts (newschannel5.com) — South Nashville homeowners are being warned their properties may be taken for new I-24 toll lanes between downtown and Murfreesboro, with some Metro officials estimating dozens of homes at risk. State and federal transportation agencies say the "Choice Lanes" project will ease congestion, but local leaders and residents fear loss of generational wealth and neighborhood disruption, and are urging neighbors to speak out at a state board meeting this week.
