Police Want to Talk to Person of Interest in Crossing Guard Hit and Run

A passerby snapped a photo of the man who may have hit the J.E. Moss Elementary crossing guard Monday.

ANTIOCH, TN — Police want to talk to a man captured in a photo taken in the aftermath of a car hitting a school crossing guard Monday.

Metro Police said the man — described as an Asian man with black hair and wearing glasses — is a person of interest in the hit-and-run crash that sent the crossing guard, Lemuel Frazier, to the hospital. Frazier had a knee injury and bruising and has been released.

The man, who is seen in a photo taken by a passerby after the accident, left before police arrived. He may be driving a red four-door, possibly a Chevrolet Aveo. It may be missing the passenger side mirror.
