Marsha Blackburn Condemns Donald Trump, but Won't Drop Support
The Seventh District representative calls Trump's comments "indefensible," but says she'll still vote for him.

Rep. Marsha Blackburn will not defend Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's comments about women made public over the weekend, but says she will still vote for him in November.
The Seventh District representative issued a statement saying Trump's vulgar remarks that condone sexual assault, which the real estate developer and reality TV star dismissed as "locker room talk" in Sunday's debate, are "indefensible."
That's not enough to keep her from voting for someone else next month, however.

"While I do not agree with everything that he says, I share the same concerns on major issues facing our nation. The issues of national security, economic security and religious liberty deserve our attention and best efforts," Blackburn said in a statement.
Sunday, Gov. Bill Haslam urged Trump to drop his candidacy and said he would write-in another Republican. Monday, Republican State Sen. Steve Dickerson said he couldn't see a path that would lead him to vote for Trump.
