Here are the top three stories in Chattanooga today:
- At 3:45 a.m. yesterday morning, two missing people were found safely in a cave at the foot of Lookout Mountain. Crews from Chattanooga and Hamilton County conducted an hours-long search for 21-year-old Gabriel Vaughn and 23-year-old Robby Dobos. (The Chattanoogan)
- A Chattanooga-based beauty technology company was chosen as the official nail care provider for a New York Fashion Week show. Millennial Nail Bar, launched in Washington, D.C. by Chattanooga native KaDeadra McNealy, previously worked at the District of Fashion Show in D.C. in 2018. (WTVC)
- As part of federal funding given to Chattanooga and Hamilton County, the Chattanooga Metro Airport will receive $3.8 million to improve its facilities. Officials with the airport have not yet narrowed down how they will spend the money, but state that the changes will "boost convenience" for customers. Reportedly, plans already exist for a 60,000 square foot expansion within CHA. (WTVC)

- Chattanooga police are asking area drivers to slow down in response to an uptick in traffic fatalities. Seven people have died in vehicle collisions in Chattanooga this year, compared to two by this time last year and six deaths in the first two months of 2020. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
- Congratulations to Lovelei Pulliam, senior at Chattanooga High School-Center for Creative Arts, for being chosen as a 2022 Girls Inc. National Scholar! Pulliam has also been awarded a $5,000.00 Girls Inc. Lucile Miller Wright scholarship. (Chattanooga Pulse)
