Here are the top three stories today in Chattanooga:

  1. Local students built electric cars for the upcoming annual Green Prix at UTC Sports Complex. The exciting event is from May 6 through May 7 with 35 different Hamilton County teams. The students design and build the vehicles themselves to promote the use of electric vehicles and STEM programs. (The Chattanoogan)
  2. CHA Ballet, formerly Chattanooga Ballet, is presenting Cinderella on May 7. The performance will be held at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre with tickets starting at $18 for adults and $12 for children under 12 years of age. The show will be choreographed by Alia Kache and directed by Brian McSween. (Chattanooga Pulse)
  3. How are you celebrating 2022 Earth Day? There are numerous exciting events this weekend meant to clean public green spaces, increase the area's plant population, and support sustainable vendors.
