For anyone with a passion for crafts, it doesn’t take long for extra fabric, yarn, paper, and accessories to begin taking over valuable space. On Thursday, May 21, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Collegedale Parks and Recreation invites the community to clear out their craft rooms and discover new creative treasures at the Craft Supply Swap.
The event will be held in the West Room at Collegedale City Hall, 4910 Swinyar Drive.
The Craft Supply Swap provides crafters the opportunity to donate or exchange gently used or new supplies they no longer need. Participants are encouraged to bring items they thought they would use, never used, or simply no longer need—and take home something new-to-you in return.
Examples of items welcome at the swap include:
- Fabric and yarn
- Beads and ribbons
- Sewing notions and embroidery thread
- Rubber stamps and paper supplies
- Craft kits and patterns
- Instruction books
- Paint, tools, and more
Whether you sew, scrapbook, knit, paint, or create in any other medium, this event offers a fun and budget-friendly way to refresh your supplies while connecting with fellow crafters in the community.
