Collegedale Parks and Recreation Announces “Learn to Paddleboard” Classes This June

Collegedale Parks and Recreation invites the community to experience the fun and fitness of paddleboarding this June with a series of “Learn to Paddleboard” classes for beginners ages 8 and up.

Whether participants are looking to try something new, enjoy the outdoors, or get a full-body workout in a beautiful environment, these introductory paddleboarding lessons offer the perfect opportunity to get on the water and learn from experienced instructors.

Classes will be taught by Mari’s Teach and Tour and are designed for beginners of all skill levels. The cost is $25 per person.

Class Schedule:

• June 1 — 9:30 AM–11:00 AM
• June 4 — 7:00 PM–8:30 PM
• June 8 — 9:30 AM–11:00 AM
• June 9 — 7:00 PM–8:30 PM
• June 16 — 7:00 PM–8:30 PM
• June 30 — 7:00 PM–8:30 PM

Paddleboarding combines balance, coordination, and relaxation while allowing participants to enjoy the scenic outdoors. The program is open to anyone ages 8 years old and up. Space may be limited, and early registration is encouraged.
