Here are the top three stories in Chattanooga today:
- Beer lovers rejoice! The Chattanooga Beer Fest will be returning to the First Horizon Pavilion on May 28. This will be the second year for the popular festival celebrating the area's brewing industry. Nearly 30 different breweries are expected to attend to provide participants with samples of their offerings. Click to purchase tickets and to view the full list of breweries attending. - Nearly 1000 Chattanoogans gathered on Tuesday for the Chattanooga Area Leadership Prayer Breakfast. The keynote address was given by Joseph Wingfield, the head of Wingfield Scale Co. Wingfield stepped in when Todd Hopkins tested positive for COVID-19. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
- The Chattanooga Area Food Bank has received a $100,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Northwest Georgia. The funds will be used to expand food bank operations in nine Northwest Georgia counties, according to the organization. The food bank distributed more than six million pounds of food in the Northwest Georgia area and hopes to expand that effort into the future. (Chattanooga Pulse)

- The Tennessee Humane Animal League is asking the community for donations. The items will be used to support the shelter's kittens going into foster homes. (Facebook)
- The Big-Headed Turtle is not self-conscious about its larger-than-usual head, but it is endangered. The species is part of the Tennessee Aquarium's Asian Turtle Breeding Program meant to preserve endangered species for future generations. (Facebook)
