Here are the top three stories today in Chattanooga:

  1. After Chattanooga's Blue Light club received a series of violations in November 2021, two more area bars are facing a similar fate. According to Sergeant Jason Wood, Westbound and Regan's Place failed to call 911 regarding multiple incidents on Station Street. A member of the Beer Board stated the board is aware of the bars' violations but is waiting for citations to be issued. (WTVC)
  2. As part of a new initiative announced this week by the Tennessee Valley Authority, Chattanooga's Orchard Knob neighborhood will soon receive a $600,000 grant to expand internet connectivity access. The pilot program aims to install an additional 21 public Wi-Fi sites and make other investments in the neighborhood, with the goal of reaching 1,000 residents in Orchard Knob and the surrounding area.   3. Know someone who's made a significant contribution to the arts in Chattanooga? Now through March 31, ArtsBuild is now accepting nominations for its 2022 Ruth Holmberg Arts Leadership Award. The organization encourages nominations for "anyone who exemplifies ArtsBuild's mission to build a stronger community through the arts" as demonstrated by their "significant contributions to the arts and leadership in the arts community."
