Here are the top three stories today in Chattanooga:

  1. A deadly Chattanooga nightclub shooting resulted in three people dead and 12 wounded. The incident occurred in the 2100 block of McCallie Avenue. Investigators believe that the shooting was an isolated incident. Anyone with information about the shooting is directed to contact the department through the Atlas One app. (Chattanooga Patch)
  2. Jim Kennedy has been hired by the Downtown Chattanooga Alliance to create a strategic work plan. Kennedy was chosen for his experience and deep knowledge of the city. The strategic work plan will partner with the DCA's Landscape Master Plan to separate Chattanooga from other Southeastern cities. (The Chattanoogan)
