Here are the top three stories in Chattanooga today:

  1. The Chattanooga Police Department has announced the indictment of 14 people for various roles in 9 different overdose deaths since 2020. The department reports that the investigation leading to the indictments was a long and extensive one. Click the link for the full list of indictments and for the charges associated with each one. (WTVC)
  2. Two people were saved by seatbelts in a serious crash on Amnicola Highway. The Chattanooga Fire Department reports that without the seatbelts, the two individuals would be dead. 3. Several Chattanooga artists are on display during Storytelling Spaces this weekend. Participants can enjoy various artistic mediums such as canvas art, photography, and puppetry. The three-day event concludes on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at the Bethlehem Center. (WDEF News 12)
