Here are the top three stories in Chattanooga today:
- The Chattanooga Police Department is asking the public for information regarding a fatal motorcycle crash that happened on Tuesday night. The incident occurred in the 5400 block of Brainerd Road and resulted in the death of a 40-year-old motorcyclist. The department has not released the identity of the motorcyclist or a report on the injuries sustained during the incident. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
- The Chattanooga Market opens for the season this weekend with a two-day celebration. The market is the premier farmers market for the region and is open on Sundays at First Horizon Pavilion on Carter Street. Admission is always free and guests can enjoy food trucks, flowers, crafts, and fresh produce. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
- The Everything Embroidery Market will be at the Chattanooga Convention Center from Apr. 28 through Apr. 30. This is the largest event celebrating the embroidery industry. Crafters, small businesses, and the community has been invited to attend the exciting event. (The Chattanoogan)
