  1. Eight families lost their homes after a fire broke out in a Grove Street apartment complex Monday morning. Now, residents are trying to salvage whatever they can. As families look for a new place to stay, media outlets are learning this isn't the first time these residents faced something like this. A public records request found that Chattanooga Fire Department (CFD) responded to 5 fires at the complex in the last year. (WTVC)
  2. 135 Hamilton County inpatients and 86 patients are in ICU, down from 87 on the day before. This is the highest number of hospitalizations of COVID to date. The number of those who have recovered from coronavirus in Hamilton County is 53,472, which is 93 percent. There are 3,485 active cases, down from 3,607 on Wednesday. (The Chattanoogan)
