  1. Tennessee lawmakers are currently debating a proposal that would provide funds for a new minor league baseball stadium in Hamilton County. The proposal would allow the county to retain a portion of sales tax to supply a new home for the Chattanooga Lookouts. The City of Chattanooga is considering the old Wheland Foundry as a possible site for the new stadium. (MyFox Chattanooga)
  2. A Chattanooga VA clinic employee was injured when a flash fire occurred in an X-ray room. The Chattanooga Fire Department responded to the incident that occurred on Shallowford Road. An initial investigation points to a flash fire occurring within an oxygen tank storage area. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
  3. The Chattanooga historic preservation nonprofit has officially changed its name. Preserve Chattanooga will be the new brand of the previously named Cornerstones. The organization was founded in 1975 under the name Landmarks Chattanooga. (The Chattanoogan)
