- Food City and Dietz & Watson teamed up recently to host their Hometown Heroes Holiday promotion. Their campaign started on November 8 and ran until December 9. A $10,000 donation was divided among three Tennessee food banks, including the Chattanooga Area Food Bank. (The Chattanoogan)
- A 40-Year-Old Boynton Terrace man has been charged with shooting another man in the face. Jonathon Mintell Ray is charged with attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and two gun counts. (The Chattanoogan)
- New ACT test data shows that there was a decline in scores both statewide and in Hamilton County. The state average composite ACT score showed a decline from 19.9 for the class of 2019-20 to 19.1 for the class of 2020-21. (WRCB-TV)
