🌱 JAWS Screening At Aquarium + BASF Apprenticeship Program

Here are the top three stories today in Chattanooga:

  1. JAWS will be screened for the first time at the Tennessee Aquarium IMAX Theater on Sep. 1. The Steven Spielberg classic will be screened on the aquarium's six-story screen. Guests of the screening will also get a unique experience in a diving cage. Tickets are $15. Click the following link for a list of screening times. (MyFox Chattanooga)
  2. Downtown Chattanooga Alliance has determined that two churches in the district will not need to pay assessments. St. Paul's Episcopal Church and Second Presbyterian Church will not have to pay the district's annual assessment. The churches were not sent an assessment bill while the issue was being resolved.   3. BASF has launched an Apprenticeship Program at its Chattanooga facility for students enrolled in Chattanooga State Community College. The program is for 12 months and will offer a full-time wage for participants. At the conclusion of the apprenticeship program, participants will have the opportunity to be placed in regular positions at BASF with annual merit bonuses and benefits.
