Here are the top stories today in Chattanooga:
- Chattanooga's Scenic City Clay Arts will host "The Joy Of Clay" Virtual Auction beginning on Mar. 29th. The goal of the event is to raise enough money to get clay into the hands of anyone in the community who wants it. Additionally, all of the 50+ items featured in the auction have been created by local potters and artists. (The Chattanoogan)
- Local legislators won money for a number of Chattanooga-based charities at the most recent THCA event. These charities included the Southern Lit Alliance, Tennessee Aquarium, Chattanooga Kidney Foundation, and Wolftever Creek Elementary. In total, legislators won $9,000 in donations for charities in their communities. (The Chattanoogan)
- Rock the Riverfront has brought over 20,000 attendees to Chattanooga Green since its opening on Mar. 4 of this year. The event's fourth weekend, hosted in partnership with RISE Chattanooga, celebrates women in music in recognition of Women's History Month. Featured events for Friday, Mar. 25 through Sunday, Mar. 27 include a "Salute to the Divas" tribute and a performance by Neshawn Calloway & Sound Advice. (Chattanooga Pulse)
