  1. The Chattanooga Bar Association announces that nominations for its coveted Liberty Bell Award are now open. The award is meant to recognize one outstanding Chattanooga citizen for their public service work. The winner will be awarded during the annual Law Day Luncheon on May 4 at the Read House in the Silver Ballroom. (The Chattanoogan)
  2. Chattanooga travelers have some relief as gas prices dropped ten cents a gallon this past week. The recent decrease has brought the price 31 cents below the record amount that the area experienced a month ago. Gasbuddy, the consumer-friendly gas app, compiled the data surveyed by 170 stations within the Chattanooga area. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
  3. Craft beer enthusiasts rejoice: the Chattanooga Beer Fest returns on May 28 to the First Horizon Pavilion. Attendees will be able to enjoy unlimited samples of the best craft beers and spirits in the Chattanooga area. Tickets will be $48 per person with no walk-up tickets being issued.
